Udine Golf Club with its splendid 18 holes on the hillside backdrop of century old oaks, beech trees and wild cherry trees, is just 5km from
San Daniele. Founded in 1972, the course, that is located in
Fagagna at the heart of the Friulian Morainic Hills just 18km from
Udine, carefully combines the pleasure of playing golf with an unique, relaxing landscape.
Over the years the 9 hole course, originally designed by architects John Harris and Marco Croze, was completed by the latter bringing it to its present day 18 holes harmoniously blended into 60 hectares. The competition course is a Par 72 and undoubtedly a difficult one, especially due to the numerous natural obstacles located along the 6000m course.
Udine Golf Club manages to offer truly emotional perspectives and panoramas that are wholly unique. There is a very pleasant clubhouse with two large renovated terraces and several lovely appointed dining rooms.
