Two true masters of contemporary jazz, Joe Pisto on guitar and vocals, and Fausto Beccalossi on accordion and vocals, will perform a concert entitled ‘Ponti: a Breath between Jazz and Tango’.
The theme offers a wholly original exploration of the more or less blurred boundaries between the musical genres of tango, jazz and Mediterranean music. The two artists will blend elements of habanera, improvisation, passionate lyricism and impetuous rhythm into a colourful world that will transport the listener to a deeply evocative realm, performing not only classics but also original compositions from their albums.
In the event of bad weather, the event will be held in September at a date to be confirmed at the Casa della Musica.
