On Wednesday 30th September 2026 at 3.15 pm, the "Serenade Ensemble" music school will be opening its doors for a free taster lesson for children aged 2 to 5.
A programme of introductory music education designed to introduce young children to music through play, movement, voice and discovery. Why start making music at such a young age? The early years of life are crucial for brain development. Musical activities help to stimulate attention, memory, listening skills, coordination, language and social skills, whilst also fostering creativity, emotional expression and social interaction.
Through music, children learn to listen, move, wait their turn, recognise sounds and rhythms, and work together with others whilst having fun!
