On Sunday 29 November 2026, the 24th edition of the Palmanova City Half Marathon will take place, one of the most eagerly awaited events for runners across Italy. The race is set to start from Piazza Grande, the very heart of the city of Palmanova, the nine-pointed star-shaped fortress which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
In addition to the race, there will be supporting events, such as the Schools’ Relay (on the Friday before) and a non-competitive 5 or 10 km walk at your own pace along the ramparts of Palmanova (which will start immediately after the Half Marathon).
