Festa della Madonna d’Agosto in Muggia

The much-anticipated traditional Festa della Madonna d’Agosto returns once again this year to the Muggia Vecchia, where—along with Tosca Masotti’s piadina and many other delicacies—we’ll enjoy a wonderful Ferragosto together from August 5 to 16.

Wednesday, August 5
at 8:00 PM, the week kicks off with a concert by the Ongia Band, “R…Estate con la Banda”

Sunday, August 9, at 8:30 PM.: The “Amici della Musica” City of Muggia Wind Orchestra presents the concert “Recuerdame” - Passing notes and embellishments from Latin America

Monday, August 10, at 8:00 PM: “A Piano Under the Sky.” Piano concert by our own Lorenzo Umer

Thursday, August 13, at 8:30 PM.: Amici per Caso Choir, conducted by Nevio Zucca

Saturday, August 15, from sunrise to sunset:
Charity used book sale in memory of Leonardo Comelli. Proceeds will be donated to the Comelli Laqthot Foundation in Hushey (Gilgit, Pakistan)
Market featuring the “Il Filo Che Unisce” craft workshop from Muggia, with many beautiful handmade creations by workshop participants
Photography exhibition “Loris Dilena: 50 Years of Nature Photography and Environmental Conservation,” curated by Loris Dilena
