Exhibition "Trieste's Female Artists in the Italian and European Avant-Garde of the 20th Century"

Opening: Thursday, July 23 at 7:00 PM. Speakers: Francesco di Paola Panteca, President of the Trieste City Council; Prof. Francesco Peroni, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CRTrieste Foundation; and Marianna Accerboni, art critic and exhibition curator.
This exhibition is a multimedia project—encompassing visual art, fashion, and music—that explores the lives and works of Leonor Fini, Maria Lupieri, Maria Melan, Anita Pittoni, and Miela Reina. These iconic, internationally acclaimed artists from Trieste embody the city’s sophisticated and distinctive artistic and cultural milieu during the 20th century—a period when Trieste had taken on a remarkable international character—as well as the creative and innovative contributions made by women within that context.
Opening hours: Thursdays 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM; Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
