Concerts at the Castle 2026 - Muggia Castle

Description

As part of the “Concerti al Castello 2026” festival, now in its 16th edition, the performance “Dipingendo Bach”—featuring Luca Provenzani on cello and painter Enrico Guerrini—will take place on Friday, September 18th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the splendid setting of Muggia Castle.

The originality of the project lies in presenting three Bach suites that tell a complete story through three paintings divided according to the movements and dances of the suites, creating a suggestive and personal musical and pictorial synergy. The painter, in fact, creates the paintings in real time, following the structure and flow of the music. The cellist, in turn, interprets the musical score, drawing inspiration from the unfolding of the painting.

And after the concert, a toast with wines from Friuli Venezia Giulia.

All concerts: donation to the fundraiser supporting the cultural projects of the Associazione Arte e Musica (minimum €10.00 per person); free for children and teens up to 18 years old.
