Efisio Mulas vive nella casa di famiglia affacciata sul mare e rifiuta di venderla a un gruppo immobiliare che vuole costruire un esclusivo resort. Mentre il paese accetta il progetto in cambio di promesse di lavoro, lui resiste a ogni pressione. Nel mezzo c’è la figlia Francesca, divisa tra la fedeltà al padre e quella alla sua comunità
