    Route

The loop starts from Tarcento, crosses the Torre stream, passes through small villages among the hills and is characterized by small vineyards. Once near the Sedilis Church you can admire the view over the underlying Friulian plain. With a short detour, in the locality of Ramandolo, the panoramic view from the little church of St. John is worth seeing. You descend among the hills to Torlano, where the land is cultivated with vines.

    Food & wine

In this land of terraced hills with breathtaking views, tasting a native grape variety is almost mandatory: the Friulian Verduzzo, whose grapes are well suited to late harvest. If vinified with grapes dried on racks, you get Ramandolo, a sweet passito wine of amber color, very alcoholic and pleasantly sweet! RECOMMENDED DISH: "Uessuz di Nimis", friable biscuits to pair with the sweet Ramandolo.
