The "Ta Lipa Pot" trail (in Resian "the beautiful road") with the start and finish point in the hamlet of Stolvizza in Resia, is a unique opportunity to connect with the environment, culture, and history of Val Resia.
A naturalistic route that winds along paths around the village, in a pristine area of unparalleled tranquility. The paths touch places rich in mountain history and culture, then cross spaces of rare beauty and richness of traditions.
This route is excellent both for those who want to spend a day outdoors, stopping to admire every little view enjoying a sandwich by the stream, and for those looking for a short but varied and very rewarding itinerary.
The absence of technical difficulties and the contained elevation gain make this trail suitable for all people with a minimum habit of walking.

The route is not recommended after and during adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, and during the hottest summer hours.
It is recommended to take home all types of waste and to preserve the places crossed as best as possible.
Please note that the collection of plant species or parts thereof is prohibited inside the Natural Park and may be subject to restrictions as per L.R. 7/2009 in external areas. The list of protected species can be consulted at this link.

Public-transport-friendly
Bus

Train
The nearest useful station is Carnia Station, over 20km from the starting point of the route.
The hamlet of Stolvizza is easily reachable via the SP42 road. From the SS13-Pontebbana, heading towards Tarvisio, turn right at Resiutta and follow the signs for Stolvizza.
Stolvizza can also be reached from Tarcento by following the SR646 towards Uccea. At Uccea, turn left following the signs to Sella Carnizza and then continue on the same road, passing the hamlet of Lischiazze until reaching the intersection with SP42. From there, turn right and continue to Stolvizza.
NOTE WELL: the Uccea-Sella Carnizza road is often subject to maintenance work. Before following these directions, check if the road is open.
At the starting point, there is a large free parking lot. GPS Point
