Val Monfalcon di Forni in the Friulian Dolomites Park

We set off at dawn, our legs stiff, and look for a point higher up. The dew that made our boots wet gives way to dust and the crunching of the small stones beneath the soles. Finally, the view opens out and surprises us, as we stop in silence. Among the rocks we find a fantastic flower and a waiting partridge. Later we will go down the mountain again, but for now we enjoy the view.
