Route: Codroipo – Villa Manin – Udine (P028)

This route winds through the Friuli plain along an easy and pleasant bike path, ideal for a leisurely ride through farmland, canals, and small rural villages. The route passes through a landscape typical of the low-lying plain, characterized by quiet backroads and a peaceful, relaxing agricultural setting. Along the way, you’ll come across Villa Manin, a splendid historic residence nestled in the countryside, which is one of the area’s main cultural attractions and well worth a stop for a visit. Continuing on, the route approaches the Rivolto airport area, home to the famous “Frecce Tricolori” National Aerobatic Team. With a bit of luck, you can watch their spectacular maneuvers during training sessions above the skies of the Friuli plain.
