Easy hike from Rifugio Pussa to the scenic Casera Senons, along the pleasant service road of the mountain hut.

The hike starts just before Rifugio Pussa, at the large crossroads panel located at the base of Casera Pussa. Here we take the CAI 393 trail towards Senons and begin to follow the long service forest road of the casera.

You ascend with a never excessive slope along the beautiful forest road, which at times is a scenic paved track protected by the green beech forest.

The forest road follows the left side of the Valle di Senons, occasionally making tight switchbacks, with forest cover never leaving space for the view... at least until 1,300 meters altitude, where the view opens onto the practical basin dominated by the mountain hut – of which so far only the elongated stable building can be seen – and surrounded by a lineup of spectacular peaks: Cima di Bortoluth, San Francesco, Monte Caserine Alta.

We continue on the road until, on our left, Casera Senons (1323 m) appears.

Return via the same forest road.
