Eines der am meisten erwarteten Events in Lignano Sabbiadoro ist das “Festa delle Cape”(Muschelfest), das den alljährlichen Beginn der neuen Sommersaison markiert.
Das „Festa delle Cape“ 2026 findet als Mittag- und Abendessen an den Wochenenden des 7-8. und 14-15. März 2025 auf der Piazza Marcello d’Olivo in Lignano Pineta statt.
Ziel der Veranstaltung, welche mittlerweile zu einer der echten Traditionen in Lignano geworden ist, ist es, die Einwohner und Urlauber mit den Fischprodukten der Adria bekannt zu machen und vor allem den Erlös für wohltätige Zwecke zu spenden.
Unter Beibehaltung der alten kulinarischen Traditionen werden die Capelunghe (Schwertmuscheln), Pevarasse (Muscheln), gegrillte und panierte Sardinen, Kalmare, Tintenfische und viele andere lokale Spezialitäten serviert. Von 11.30 bis 14,30/15,00 und von 17,30 bis 21.00 Uhr
