Exhibition: ‘Vlad Tepes, Dracula: History, Legend, Current Events’

Description

The exhibition ‘Vlad Tepes, Dracula: History, Legend, Current Events’ will open on 10 October 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Postal and Telegraph Museum of Mitteleuropa of Poste Italiane. 
The exhibition will be open until 13 December, Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (excluding public holidays).
The exhibition aims to be a journey that intertwines historical documents, artistic reproductions, objects, stamps, postcards, publications, original maps of the time, and creates literary suggestions. thus exploring two parallel dimensions: Vlad Tepes, the medieval ruler who fought against the Ottoman Empire and who still divides historians and scholars today, and the immortal myth, Count Dracula, whom we all know, born from the pen of Bram Stoker and who has become an icon of popular culture with influences in cinema, music, art and fashion. The immersive exhibition will give visitors the opportunity to explore one of the most fascinating and controversial figures in European history, discovering how reality and fiction have given rise to a timeless myth.
