Nato a Pirano d'lstria nel 1949, si è diplomato maestro d'arte nel 1968 presso l'Istituto d'arte di Udine. Nel 1985 apre ufficialmente a Cividale del Friuli un'atelier con annesso laboratorio, spazio dove tutt'ora svolge la sua attività.
