Che cosa significa, oggi, avere un’economia in equilibrio? È sufficiente che i conti tornino, che la produzione tenga, che l’occupazione rimanga stabile? Oppure l’equilibrio economico è qualcosa di più fragile e complesso, che riguarda insieme imprese, lavoratori, istituzioni, territori e cittadini? L’economia contemporanea vive una stagione di profonde trasformazioni. La competizione internazionale si fa più intensa, le catene del valore cambiano, la tecnologia modifica rapidamente processi produttivi e professioni, mentre crisi geopolitiche, transizione energetica e nuove regole europee impongono scelte sempre più difficili. Anche territori industriali forti e tradizionalmente capaci di reagire si trovano così davanti a una domanda decisiva: come mantenere la propria capacità produttiva e, nello stesso tempo, costruire quella del futuro?
