Departure from the Piancavallo Infopoint. Turn left to follow the Collalto loop. The route develops along the streets of the town center.
From Via Collalto, turn right at the first entrance of Via Napoleone Cozzi. Along the secondary streets, you quickly enter a quiet environment surrounded only by birdsong. Continue on Via Cozzi, leaving Via Gervasutti on the left. Before crossing the main road with Via Collalto, keep right along the paved road that runs alongside various houses and, through a short stretch of path, reconnects with Via Policreti. Continue straight until you reach the electricity cabin.
Turn right onto Via Divisione Julia. At the stop, continue further right then at the intersection with Via Capitano Maset, stay left on Via Collalto. Turn right onto Via Pietro Tajariol and continue leaving Via Emilio Comici to the left. Via Tajariol continues and merges into Via Renzo Granzotto. Continue straight along the road until the intersection. Enter left onto Via Collalto. From Via Collalto, turn left onto Via degli Alpini and then enter right onto Via Divisione Julia.
Along Via degli Alpini is the Chiesetta degli Alpini, where the Rifugio Policreti stood, dating back to 1925, the first built by the CAI section of Pordenone. For many years, it was a destination for the first ski pioneers who walked up from Dardago to pursue their passion. The church was built with some stones from the old refuge destroyed by German troops during the partisan war. Turn left and continue on Via Collalto to the snow removal vehicle depot. Turn right onto Via Giulio Kugy and complete the entire loop until re-entering Via Collalto, returning to the starting point.
